Every Nitra order is packed by hand, insured, and shipped through trusted courier partners across India. Here's everything you need to know about how we get your jewellery to your doorstep.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 24–48 hours of order confirmation, excluding Sundays and public holidays. Made-to-order, customised, or engraved pieces may take 5–10 working days to be crafted before dispatch — the specific timeline will be mentioned on the product page.
You will receive a confirmation email and WhatsApp once your order is dispatched, along with a tracking link to follow your shipment in real time.
2. Delivery Timelines
Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are:
- Metro cities: 3–5 working days
- Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities: 5–7 working days
- Remote locations: 8–10 working days
Please note that these timelines are estimates. Actual delivery may be affected by courier delays, weather conditions, regional disruptions, or other factors beyond our control.
3. Shipping Charges
We offer free shipping on all prepaid orders across India. For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, a nominal handling fee may be applicable and will be displayed at checkout.
4. Cash on Delivery (COD)
COD is available on select pin codes and for orders below a specified value (as displayed at checkout). High-value orders may not be eligible for COD as a fraud-prevention measure.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link via email and WhatsApp. You can also track your order anytime by logging into your Nitra account and visiting "My Orders".
6. Pin Code Serviceability
We deliver across India through our courier partners. To check if your pin code is serviceable, please enter it on the product page or at checkout. If your pin code is non-serviceable, you may contact us at nitra.marketplace@gmail.com and we will try to arrange an alternative shipping method, where possible.
7. Delivery Attempts
Our courier partners typically make up to 2 delivery attempts. If all attempts are unsuccessful, the package will be returned to our warehouse. In such cases, we will contact you to either reship the order (additional shipping charges may apply) or process a refund as per our Refund Policy.
For COD orders that are refused or undelivered after 2 attempts, Nitra reserves the right to restrict future COD orders from that account.
8. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Please ensure that your shipping address, pin code, and contact number are accurate at the time of placing the order. Nitra is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete address information. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, additional shipping charges will apply for redelivery.
9. Damaged or Tampered Packages
If you receive a package that appears damaged, tampered with, or opened, please do not accept the delivery. Mark it as "refused" with the courier and contact us immediately at nitra.marketplace@gmail.com with photos.
If you have already accepted the package, please report any damage within 24 hours of delivery, supported by an unboxing video and clear photos, so we can raise a claim with our courier partner.
10. International Shipping
At present, Nitra ships only within India. We are working on expanding to international destinations soon. If you are based outside India and would like to place an order, please write to us at nitra.marketplace@gmail.com and we will try to assist on a case-by-case basis.
